Aqua-Chem, Inc. Supports Medal of Honor Recipients and Documentary at Local Fundraiser Benefitting East Tennessee Veterans Memorial

Knoxville, TN (March 31, 2014) – Staff from Aqua-Chem, Inc. were eager to attend this spring’s Medal of Honor fundraiser honoring recipients, Hershel “Woody” Williams of the US Marine Corps and Sergeant Sammy L. Davis of the US Army (pictured, fourth from the left). Guests were invited to screen the debut of The Medal of Honor: A History Documentary at the downtown Knoxville Regal Riviera Stadium. The film explores the history the nation’s highest military honor. A reception at the East Tennessee Historical Society followed the screening. Williams and Davis, along with the living children of World War I medal recipient Alvin C. York, and local dignitaries were all in attendance.

Aqua-Chem Inc. is a proud sponsor of the 2014 Medal of Honor Convention. The convention will be held at the Knoxville Convention Center September 10-13.
