Commercial Marine Pharma/Biotech Offshore Marine Bottled Water Military Cogen/Power Custom Solutions Parts & Service

Vapor Compression Distillation Units to produce USP Purified Water and Water for Injection (WFI) for the Pharmaceutical and Biotech Markets.

Water Technologies' vapor compression distillation systems kill bacteria and remove suspended solids, dissolved minerals, and organic contaminants from feedwater, with capacities ranging from under 200 gph to 7200 gph.

As a recognized leader and provider of reliable equipment in these industries, the world's major biotech and
pharmaceutical companies rely on our experience and dedication to the highest standards of quality and performance.

Our vapor compression units feature Aqua-Cherm's Spray-Film® technology that generates high heat transfer coefficients while keeping all of the evaporator tube surfaces adequately wet during the evaporation process. This technology allows the operator to easily observe the evaporation process and quickly clean or passivate our units without flooding the evaporator vessel.

The vapor compressor is the heart of a vapor compression unit.  Water Technologies began with two compressor technologies - direct drive for our large units and belt drive for our small units. Our large units today feature low-speed direct drive compressors which have proven to be the most reliable compressors in the industry.

All units operate automatically, with starting, stopping and restarting based on tank signals. Operators regulate the system via HMI panelview displays interfaced with the system's PLCs.

All designs comply with cGMP and BPE requirements.
