Diesel Fuel Filter/Coalescer
The fuel filter/separator offered is designed to maximize filter service life and minimize maintenance labor and filter cartridge cost. The design offered is a custom package based on our discussions and other information you have given us.
The system offered is a skid mounted package rated at 45 USGPM of diesel fuel rated at approximately 37 SSU. The package includes 2” RF flanged inlet/outlet connections at skid edge, one ¾” flanged connection for common vessel drain vand one ¾” NPT connection for skid drain. The skid will include a seal welded vdeck plate with 1” high drip lip at skid perimeter to contain any spilled fluids. The design concept of the system is to first pass the fuel through inexpensive sediment filtration cartridges before the relatively expensive separator/coalescer cartridges. There are two sediment filter housings/cartridges in parallel with isolation valves so that one remains in operation while the other is changed. These housings are offered with swing bolt elliptical heads to facilitate cartridge changes. Two separator/coalescers are also in parallel, with only one in operation at any one time.
Inlet and outlet pressure gauges and differential pressure switches are installed on each phase of filtration.
